Patient 3 – This 67-year-old traveled from out of state to see Dr. Zenn. She had significant facial deflation and excess facial skin. Dr. Zenn preformed a facelift and facial fat grafting to the face and around the eyes. Older facelift techniques rely on pulling the skin tightly, which in this case would have pulled her natural wrinkles in odd directions, a tell-tale sign of a facelift. Instead, Dr. Zenn replenished fat to her face which effectively softened and rejuvenated the face, leaving some age-appropriate wrinkles. The stem-cells within the fat grafts greatly improve skin quality without additional lasers or peels. This modern facelift removed excess skin by re-draping the skin over the newly filled face – with no tension. The result speaks for itself.
