Patient 1 – This 53-year-old demonstrates how extra eyelid bags and skin can make you look older than you are. Her upper eyelids cannot open fully due to excess tissues and the drooping eyebrows. Some lower eyelid bags have made their way into her cheeks, called “malar bags.” Making her more refreshed and age appropriate is as simple as removing the excess skin and fat and re-suspending the eyebrows to help open the eye area. Dr. Zenn performed an endoscopic browlift, upper blepharoplasty with extended fat removal, and lower transconjunctival blepharoplasty. Shown is her results at 3 months.
